Welcome to Dogs O’clock
Dogs O’clock provides a professional and personalised dog walking service that is an enjoyable, safe and
engaging experience for the pets in its care.
- Group walks are limited to a maximum of 5 dogs per session so that each dog in the group can enjoy socializing with each other, is able to show their individual personalities and is given the individual attention that they need.
- Our pet sitting service is carried out by qualified handlers.
- The dogs are transported in a windowed, air conditioned vehicle which includes hypoallergenic bedding and individual cages to allow each dog to be comfortable during travel time. The dogs are never left in the van except during their pick ups and returns when the vehicle is locked and left not running.
All client house keys are unidentifiable to anyone outside of Dogs O’clock and are kept securely when not in use.
A First Aid Kit is kept on hand at all times with each handler being trained in canine first aid.
All handlers are Police Checked (Disclosure and Barring Service – DBS cleared).
Dogs O’clock is fully insured for all services provided with the relevant records available on request.
About Me
My name is Rob Watson MISAP and I created Dogs O’clock so that I could follow my passion for dogs and our other home sharing animals. I have always had animals in my life and I fully embrace the positive impact having an animal in your life has, and the need to have a caring pair of hands to look after them in your absence. To this end I retrained leaving behind the corporate world of Print, IT Management and Retail Management that had been my place of work for over 30 years. The sense of satisfaction I feel from this line of work is beyond all others.
- I am qualified through “iPET Network Level 3 Award in Dog Walking and Pet Sitting for Professionals” which is approved and audited by DEFRA.
- Canine First Aid certified.
- A student of canine behaviour via studying a Diploma in this field before continuing my behaviour education.
- A student member of the “International Society of Animal Professionals” which was founded to improve animal welfare in the world and serve as a focus point for common standards of good practice when working with animals.
- I am a Diamond member of GrishaStewart.com who is an advocate, author and teacher of force-free Behaviour Adjustment Training (BAT) for dogs.
